Home visits are reserved for the housebound. If at all possible, please come to the surgery as we have far more medical facilities to offer there and home visits take up a greater amount of the doctor’s time, which could be used for seeing several patients in the surgery. If you do not feel well enough to sit in a waiting room we can make alternative arrangements.
If you do need to make a home visit request, please contact our reception before 10:30am if at all possible on (0117 980 5700) and explain the situation you find yourself in. The receptionist will complete a home visit request form and pass the details to the GP for triage. Our GP will then either visit you or, if they feel it appropriate, request that an Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) visits you.
